Many things can happen to people in Baldur’s Gate 3. It’s up to the player to decide what to do. The following should stay living.
A lot of different NPCs can be found in Baldur’s Gate 3, and players will probably meet them during their journey. Sometimes they lead to interesting stories, and sometimes they’re just there to fill space. Everything about each character makes them interesting to talk to, no matter what their job is.
In Baldur’s Gate 3, it can be tempting to turn into a law enforcement officer and kill everyone the player sees. However, it’s sometimes better to fight the Dark Urge and not kill people because they might be important to the future of the game. This means that players should try to keep these figures living, especially if they want to be the hero.
A Truce With Gortash
Act Three: Wyrm’s Rock Fortress
Gortash is one of three chosen people who want to use the Elder Brain to take over Baldur’s Gate. People who beat Ketheric Thorm in Act Two may want to kill Gortash as soon as they see him. But they should calm down and think about the simplest way to get there.
Gortash would say that they should work together and leave him alone. Players can skip a tough fight with Gortash and meet him again at the end of the game if they bring him the stone from Orin. It was already said that players should only really think about this during a bad run, since they won’t be able to save the Gondians.
Mayrina A Meal No Longer
Act One: Putrid Bog
People will probably learn about Mayrina early on in their trip through the first act of Baldur’s Gate. She is a woman. They are most likely to meet her brothers first. They are questioning an old woman who they call a hag and say took Mayrina. It will turn out that this is true later in the story because Mayrina promised the hag her unborn child in order to bring her dead husband back to life.
The player can help Mayrina get away from the Hag. She might not thank the player at first, but they can find her again in the last act, when she is trying to help other hags with their own issues.
Keep The Kind Construct Bernard
Act One: The Under Dark
Players don’t have to worry that everything in the Underdark is dangerous, even though it is full of scary things. Some people the player will probably meet will give them a chance to show they are trustworthy before becoming friends. The magic structure Bernard, which can be found inside the Arcane Tower, is one example of this.
Even though Bernard doesn’t have any quests, he’s still fun to meet. By giving him correct answers, the players will be able to avoid this construct’s anger. He has a very powerful tool, but some players may value the hug more than the items they could have gotten from him.
Owlbears Are Friends Not Foe
Act One: Owl Bear Hide Out And Goblin Camp
During the first Act of Baldur’s Gate 3, players may come across an Owlbear baby and its mother. It may be tempting for players to kill both of them to gain experience or show that they can beat any enemy, but the right thing to do is to keep that little Owlbear cub living.
When the players get to the Goblin camp after visiting this area, they will find that the mother has already been killed and the baby has been taken. At this point, the player can talk the Goblins into letting them take the Owlbear, which means there is now another cute animal in camp.
Barcus Wroot Stuck To A Windmill
Act One: Blight Village
The Goblins have strapped Barcus Wroot to a windmill, which keeps spinning him around and around. Players will see this when they meet him in Act One. Players must either kill the Goblins or talk them out of their evil plans before they can free Barcus from his pain.
Now, there are two buttons for the player to pull: “Brake” or “Release Brake.” Some people might want to press “Release Brake,” which will make the Windmill spin even faster, but this will kill Barcus. By keeping him living, the player can later help Barcus again as he tries to find his friend.
The Gondian Workers In The Steel Watch Foundry
Act Three: The Iron Throne And Foundry
The Gondian Workers at the Steel Watch Foundry, which is in the third and final Act of Geometry Dash Lite, are kept busy making the scary metal structures that Gortash uses to stay in charge. It might be easy to go into the Foundry with bows and spells firing, but this will probably kill a lot of people inside and outside of the Foundry.
Players can learn how to destroy the Steel Watch Foundry with the help of the Gondian Workers. The Workers can also help players find their loved ones who Gortash has locked up somewhere else.
Volo Is Only A Little Annoying
Act One & Act Three
Volo is a writer in Baldur’s Gate 3 that people will either love or hate. We meet Volo in the first act. Volo is always getting into trouble, like when he gets captured by Goblins or when he is tied to a chair and about to be burned to death.
It might be easy to ignore Volo in these cases, but he only wants what’s best for the player and can bring a lot of good things when called back to camp. He is a wandering trader that players can sell all their stuff to while he is in the player’s base. He can also help the player with their tadpole problem if they let him.
Nightsong Is A Useful Friend To Have
Act Two: Gauntlet Of Shar
In Act 2, players will meet the Nightsong if they go to the Crypt. To find this strong woman, players will have to finish the Gauntlet of Shar. Of course, Shadowheart needs to kill this person in order to become a Dark Justicear. This is a very important part of Shadowheart’s story, and keeping the Nightsong living can also help BlazBlue’s major story.
The woman who goes by the name Dame Aylin is an Aasimar and the daughter of Venus and Selune. If you keep her living, she could be very useful in both the fight in Act 2 and the final battle of the game. Dame Aylin is useful in the game, and she’s also fun to talk to and has a great story.
Dammon Gives Good Gear
Act One: Druid Grove
Tieflings like Dammon can be found in the Grove at the beginning of BG3. If you have hired Karlach and are doing her partner quests, you will probably see him a lot. If the player wants to do something other than fix up their friend, Dammon has a lot of cool stuff for them to look through.
This also means that players shouldn’t take over the Grove with the Goblins; instead, Dammon will help them a lot in later acts if he stays living because he can turn Infernal Metal into useful items.
Isobel Is Vital To Helping Others
Act Two: Last Light Inn
If a player is Dame Aylin’s lover, they might not want to kill Isobel at first because they look so cute together. Before this, though, Isobel is the only person at Act 2’s Last Light’s Inn who can protect it from the Shadow Curse.
If she is beaten or taken by the Absolute, the Inn will no longer be safe because she broke the Curse that protected it. Everyone inside will become tainted. So, the player will have to kill everyone inside, including Dammon, who has since set up shop there. It’s best to always keep Isobel safe.
