MOTAS’s work may look simple, but don’t be fooled. When Adobe Flash was at its best, it had some of the best point-and-click puzzle games that were free to play. It’s not very pretty or graphically impressive, but the story and hard problems make up for it.
At the start of MOTAS, the player wakes up in a strange room and learns that they are there as part of an experiment to see if they can get to a secret alternative world. But in order to get to this other world, a person must first erase their memories. The player figure is said to have agreed to the trial, but this agreement may not be as clear-cut as it seems.

ROOMS isn’t like most escape rooms where you have to look in each room for hints to finally find an exit. It’s actually a slide puzzle game called ROOMS. Which is to lock players in a dark, cold room until they can figure out how to get out. The Talos Principle does things differently.
For the most part, the player solves problems while outside, in beautiful scenery, rather than stuck in a stuffy room. Even though a lot of the tasks in The Talos Principle happen outside. The game still follows the same basic rules that escape room fans love.
